Fields of competence
ROBOTNOR represents a unique synergy of academic and industrial expertise which allows us to counsel and comprehend a wide variety of tasks and projects. Our fields of competence are numerous and diverse.
Trille is a modified version of a Pioneer P3-DX from Adept MobileRobots. The robot is equipped with a serving tray which can be heightened and lowered to adapt to the specific needs of a task. The robot is also equipped with ultrasonic sensors and a laser range finder that allow it to detect and avoid obstacles. In the event that Trille collides with an external object, bump sensors enable the robot to stop and handle the situation. To be able to get past low obstacles such as door moldings, Trille has two large wheels on each side. The wheels provide odometry information which can be used in localization and path planning software. Trille also has an on-board laptop and a wireless Ethernet connection.
