Fields of competence
ROBOTNOR represents a unique synergy of academic and industrial expertise which allows us to counsel and comprehend a wide variety of tasks and projects. Our fields of competence are numerous and diverse.
In the project “Robust Industrial Sewing Automation”, a multi-robot sewing cell has been developed to assemble recliner cover parts by sewing. The system consists of a standard industrial sewing machine, and three cooperating robots handling the parts through the sewing process. The robots are real-time controlled based on sensor input from force sensors mounted on the robot tools, and vision detection of the part edges.
