Online gait diagnostics tool (TRASK)

TRASK is a cooperative project between SINTEF Applied Cybernetics and researchers at the University of Bergen and St. Olav’s hospital.

As the gait of a person can give insight into a variety of ailments the person might suffer from, TRASK seeks to give realtime access to information about the gait. To do this, a small electronic device was developed that, when placed on the back of a person, that sends and processes information about angles and accelerations. This enables therapists to perform accurate diagnoses and perform the correct treatment.
